Curious to see how the auction ended? I will post the winning bid amount in my previous auctions within a day or two of the auction's end and will leave them up at least until the next auctions end. I do not post the winning bidders' names since some people prefer to remain anonymous.
Looking for one of my last auctions and don't see it here? Maybe you were really interested but hate the idea of silent auctions? Then check out my For Sale page. In those cases where a fashion doesn't sell during an auction, I've been moving them there and selling for a fixed price.
How ByShane Silent Auctions Work
1. Email your bid/offer to me at ByShane@Live.com. You have until the date and time in listed in each auction.2. I will send a confirmation of bid receipt if it is received in time before the auction ends. If you don't receive a confirmation within 24 hours you can assume I did not receive your bid and may want to send a second email.
3. Once the auction has ended, the highest bid/offer will win (bidder will be able to buy) the outfit.4. If I receive more than one bid with the same highest amount, the first offer received will be the winner.
5. I will not announce bid status on an auction once the bidding has started because I want all participants to trust that there is no monkey business, i.e., that I am not falsely inflating the bidding.
6. I will accept changes to your bid. You may increase, decrease or withdraw your bid at any time while the auction is still open. In the case of a decrease or bid withdrawel, there will be no hard feelings on my part. I understand that life happens.
Tips for Bidding
1. Consider your bid carefully. Silent auctions work differently than the way they do on eBay or in a live auction. The amount you bid is the amount you will pay if you win.2. Bid as early as possible once you have decided what you want to bid. If more than one person bids the same amount and that is the highest bid, the first bid received will win the auction.
Payment
The payment amount will be the winning bid amount plus shipping and optional insurance. I will accept payment by Money Order (US residents only) and Paypal.
Shipment
I always try to ship within 2-3 business days of receipt of payment. I ship through the United States Postal Service and you can choose from various options on shipping method, insurance, etc. To give you an idea of what to expect, I charge $3.00 for First Class Mail and Delivery Confirmation throughout the United States for most of my outfits.
